Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States, serving from 1861 to 1865. Among most things he was well known for his great speeches and issuing the Emancipation Proclamation. Which allowed slaves from the Confederate states to be free. His life came to a tragic end on April 15 1865, when he was shot and killed at Ford's Theater by John Wilkes Booth.

A Most Excellent Adventure[]

In 1863, at the White House, there was a knock on the door announcing a Candygram. Lincoln, answered it only to be snatched by Genghis Khan, on Bill and Ted's orders. Since there was no more room in the Time Booth, he was the last to be picked up along with Billy the Kid, Socrates, Sigmund Freud, Joan of Arc, Beethoven and Genghis Khan. He was present when they had to go to Prehistoric times to fix the Booth. Finding the antenna busted, Bill and Ted hand the historical figures a cup of canned pudding each. Lincoln thanking Ted for his can. After they finish the pudding each figure is handed a piece of gum. Both of which were used to jury rig the antenna back together. Like the rest, Lincoln was present when Bill and Ted talk to their past selves coinciding with the beginning of the movie. When they go back in the booth, the duo complain about how tall Lincoln is as part of how cramped the Booth was in. Which he retorts that he was built that way. When they return to San Dimas on the day of the history report, he was introduced to Missy. Unlike the others, they couldn't come up with an alias for him so they called him by his real name. He like the other historical figures help Bill and Ted with their chores so Missy can take them to the Mall. The purpose of which as per the report to give an in depth view on what these figures would think of San Dimas. Bill and Ted leave them while they go retrieve Napoleon. Lincoln himself checking out the Photobooth. However the photographer mistakes his look for a Lincoln costume and demands he take it off. Lincoln tries to kindly tell him that he is Lincoln, but when the photographer tries to take his clothes by force, Lincoln invokes some of his old wrestling to restrain and knock him over before fleeing. Like the rest of the figures he's arrested and personally interrogated by Ted's father. Bill and Ted bust him and the other figures out, with Lincoln helping the rest sneak out quietly. They take the figures to San Dimas Highschool to give their report, with Lincoln being the last speaker. Where he gives the closing speech to the audience. Similar to to the Gettysburg Address:

"Four score and 7 minutes ago. We, your four fathers, were brought forth upon a most excellent adventure. Conceived by our new friends. Bill and Ted. These two great gentlemen, are dedicated to a proposition. Which was true in my time. Just as it's true today. 'Be excellent to each other and....PARTY ON DUDES!!!' "

The closing speech was welcomed with a round of applause not just by the students, but the teachers and the duo's parents. The students clamoring for more. Lincoln and the other figures were eventually returned to their timelines. Whether things have changed or history stayed the same with Lincoln is unknown.
